Thank You From Nicolet Plastics Nicolet Plastics would like to thank all those who were involved in this remarkable event. We had a fantasic group of racers! Everyone of them is a winner!

Although the morning started out a little wet, it ended up being a nice day for a race. There were many happy faces, along with challenges made for next year. We plan to make next year's event even better! Plan on joining us again. Please help by filling out our suggestion form. Tentatively, the race date will be May 15, 2004, so mark your calendars. Nicolet Plastics is proud to be able to support our local emergency departments. These groups of volunteers need to be recognized for all they do in our communities. The Doty, Riverview, Mountain, Lakewood and Townsend Fire Departments, the Mountain and Lakewood/Townsend Community Ambulance and the Nicolet Search and Rescue Team are each dedication to the safety and health of our areas. All of these groups were represented in the planning and race day events. As with any large event volunteers are needed. Together these organizations provided the personnel support to make this a safe and successful event. Hats off to all of you!

Maiden Lake's beauty was shared by the racers. The lake, trees and people are very reflective of our wonderful area. Many of those living around Maiden Lake also were very supportive of the race. It is heard that there were a few extra water stations set up by the Maiden Lake residents and that their cheers and applause not only showed their support, but also gave the participants confidence and drive to complete the race. Thank-you all!

Positive feedback on the course, our high-tech timing system, our DJ Ken, all the prizes and the great food cooked by members of the Doty Fire Department was much appreciated. We will continue to improve with each year, as well as grow the event.
